Key Analysis Categories

Every prediction evaluates fighters across multiple key dimensions:

The Intangibles
How the fighter shows up when it matters: chin, heart, fight IQ, composure under pressure, and style matchup advantages.
Striking Output
Who lands more, harder, and cleaner. Volume, accuracy, defense, and how much punishment a fighter absorbs.
Grappling Control
Who controls where the fight happens. Takedown ability, cage work, submission threats, and ground control.
Recent Form
Who's on the rise and who's fading. Win/loss streak, level of recent opposition, and how performances have trended.
The X-Factor
Finishing ability, comeback threat, and the wild card. The thing that isn't in the data but changes fights.

Method of Victory

Beyond picking the winner, we predict how the fight ends:

Decision
Likelihood the fight goes the full distance, based on both fighters' historical patterns.
KO/TKO
Probability of a striking finish, considering offensive and defensive capabilities.
Submission
Chance of a grappling finish, based on submission skills and defensive vulnerabilities.
